Salt Spring Wild Cider
Salt Spring Wild Cidery makes artisanal craft ciders from the heritage apples and pears that grow on Salt Spring Island. Once the largest producer of apples in B.C., Salt Spring Island is still home to hundreds of wild apple and pear trees producing over 450 varieties of fruit. The Cidery gathers over 250,000 lbs of apples annually from properties all over Salt Spring making a great contribution to the island community.
