2020 Bunker Red Island Blend

Long before Rathjen Cellars, there was the Wine Bunker—a cramped, unfinished basement that doubled as a training ground for the art and craft of making wine. Paying tribute to our humble beginnings, the Wine Bunker Red is a vibrant and charming blend of Foch, Pinot Noir and Carménère grapes grown in the Cowichan Valley and the Saanich Peninsula. This wine is part of our ongoing exploration into growing and making food-friendly wines that truly reflect our unique coastal climate.
