Okanagan rebel and straight shooter Richard Kanazawa’s winemaking story began as a delivery man for Domaine de Chaberton Winery in Langley, BC. Smitten with wine and rugby, he flew to Australia to work at a winery and begin his journey. Since his return, Richard has made award-winning wines with Red Rooster and with Blasted Church Vineyards. Then it was his turn. Kanazawa’s ethos seeks to “express the vineyard,” resulting in wines that compliment both haute cuisine and everyday drinking.
